The SHR method of laser hair removals is unlike any other laser hair removal treatment. The laser is passed over the site 6 – 12 times like a paint brush. It fires tiny bursts of energy 10 times a second, slowly, gently heating the hair follicles. The energy is then absorbed by the melanin in the hair shaft. This absorption raises the temperature of teh hair follicle and thermally destorys the cells reponsible for regrowth.
Most people find hair reduction sessions with the Soprano laser technology very comfortable. During the procedure you can expect to fell a warm sensation over the treated area and immediately following your laser treatment, you may experience some reddening or local swelling at the treatment site, but this typically goes within 24 hours. You can resume your normal activities as usual but you should be aware to avoid exposing the treated area to sun, solarium and fake tans.
